Jakarta, 21/08/2024 – High-Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships (HLF-MSP) serves as a momentum for Indonesia to demonstrate global leadership in strengthening solidarity and cross-sectoral collaboration.
The forum, to be held in Bali from September 1 to 3, 2024, will not only continue Indonesia's success in leading global forums but also manifest Indonesia's commitment to sustainable and inclusive development.
The Director of Foreign Policy and International Development Cooperation at the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (PPN/Bappenas), Hendra Wahanu Prabandani, emphasized this in Jakarta on Wednesday (August 21, 2024).
“The previous G20 Presidency resulted in the Roadmap for Stronger Recovery and Resilience in Developing Countries. The HLF-MSP 2024 continues the momentum that the Indonesian government has built so far,” said Hendra.
The forum will prove that Indonesia can mobilize multi-stakeholder partnerships from the government, civil society organizations, the private sector, and academics. It is expected to be a catalyst for innovative solutions to global challenges and strengthen Indonesia's role as a leader in achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Carrying the theme “Strengthening Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships: Towards a Transformative Change,” HLF-MSP 2024 is expected to bring together around 1,000 participants from various countries and international organizations to jointly discuss pressing global issues, including efforts to bridge the development gap between countries in the Global South and Global North.
“We would like to emphasize the importance of collaboration among stakeholders to strengthen collective action in ensuring inclusive collaboration and cooperation, as well as finding innovative solutions to address global issues that are becoming increasingly complex as we know it,” said Hendra.
