Dozens of electric-powered escort motorcycles belonging to the TNI for VVIP security at two international forums, the High-Level Forum on Multi Stakeholder Partnership (HLF MSP) and the 2nd Indonesia Africa Forum (IAF), arrived at Tanjung Benoa port, Bali. Wednesday (8/28/2024). In addition to motorcycles, armored tactical vehicles also arrived.
Jakarta, August 28, 2024—Dozens of armored tactical vehicles and electric-powered escort motorcycles belonging to the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) arrived at Tanjung Benoa port, Bali, on Wednesday (8/28/2024) for VVIP security arrangement at two international forums, the High-Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships (HLF MSP) and the 2nd Indonesia Africa Forum (IAF).
TNI deployed four Indonesian Navy Warships (KRI) to transport the armored vehicles and escort motorcycles, including KRI Banda Aceh (BAC)-593, KRI Teluk Cirebon (TCN)-543, KRI Drdr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat (RJW)-992, and KRI dr. Soeharso (SHS)-990.
The types of tactical vehicles transported by these KRIs include the CBRNE Sprinter 516 Special Forces, Kizi Nubika Special Forces, Elf (animal) unit vehicles, Anoa Special Forces, Jihandak Ivader Special Forces + Bomb Trailer, Electric Motorcycles of the POM, Electric Motorcycles of the Matan, Electric Cars of the POM, and Sea Rider + towing truck.
In addition to TNI soldiers, advanced primary weapons systems (Alutsista), such as aircraft for evacuation in the event of natural disasters, earthquakes, tsunamis, or potential monkeypox/Mpox outbreaks, were also prepared for the VVIP security operation. Navy ships have been deployed to secure the waters in the Bali Strait and Lombok Strait.
The deployment of these armored vehicles and escort motorbikes shows the TNI's commitment to ensuring the smooth running of security arrangements for the Heads of State at the HLF MSP and the 2nd IAF Summit, which serve as an international meeting to strengthen relations between Indonesia and Africa, aimed to bring shared prosperity.
The TNI, through IX military regional command/Udayana, has also prepared 3,000 personnel to secure the HLF-MSP and the 2nd IAF 2024. IX military regional commander/Udayana, as the Commander of the Regional Security Task Force (Dansatgas Pamwil), Major General TNI Muhammad Zamroni, when leading the Regional Security and Evacuation Task Force Troop Roll Call, said that it was an honor that the state has given trust to Kodam IX/Udayana for being involved in the security operation, as they have successfully secured previous events.

The tasks that we have previously undertaken have carved out success stories, and that success was a result of the will of God Almighty Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa," said Zamroni at the Puputan Niti Mandala Renon Field, Denpasar, Tuesday (27/8/2024).
